How we got started
If you're here, then like me, you have a burning desire to become more than you are today. This passion drives me in three key areas: my family, my career in anesthesia, and my commitment to mentoring. Even after nearly a decade as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant, I still feel incredibly fortunate to go to work each day—in fact, I find myself saying "I GET to go to work!" Additionally, for over two decades, I've cherished the opportunity to teach and mentor students, from fellow classmates to aspiring nurses to now pre-AA and current AA students.
Even now, I vividly recall the challenges of the pre-CAA journey—navigating the application process, managing the program's intensity, and negotiating that first job. That's why I built the Avid Mentor Community: because I believe in the transformative power of community and personalized guidance. My core belief is that your unique story is your superpower. As your experienced mentor, I promise to help you uncover that special something that makes you an exceptional candidate and tailor our guidance to your individual journey.
